Mary Scheibel, Founder and Principal Owner
Mary Scheibel, APR, brings more than 25 years of strategic marketing communications experience to her clients. She is known for her ability to address complex issues and concerns, and for designing communications programs that are strategic, actionable and results-driven.

Mary has a wealth of experience on “both sides of the fence,” having held corporate communications and investor relations positions for Sara Lee Corporation and Wisconsin Energy Corporation. She was an investor relations/public relations consultant prior to founding Scheibel Halaska in 1991.

Throughout her career, Mary has created strategic communications programs for a broad range of clients in industries that span from manufacturing to financial and professional service organizations. Briggs and Stratton, D-M-E/Milacron, GE Capital, Children's Hospital, Thoughtworks, Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek and the Gas Technology Institute (Department of Energy/EPA) are among the organizations she has served.

An accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America, Mary is on the board of directors of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Association of Commerce (MMAC) as well as the Council of Small Business Executives Board. She also serves on the Midwest Regional Board of Directors of the Society of the Plastics Industry (SPI) and on the Board of Centro Legal, a Milwaukee-based nonprofit organization.

Mary holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Truman State University.
